Nissan Sedans

When you're in the market for a new car, there's a lot to consider before hopping behind the wheel and driving home. These considerations could include questions about the car's passenger room and safety features. Perhaps you're looking for a sedan that's efficient but also retains enough horsepower to give your ride a sportier feel.

Regardless of your preferences, there's bound to be a car in the lineup of Nissan sedans that suits your lifestyle. So, the team at Beaver County Nissan put together this guide to showcase three different yet equally boastful 4-door sedans.

Keep reading to get the lowdown on a few cars that you've likely seen on the roads of Beaver Falls, Aliquippa, and Zelienople, PA.

2020 Versa

We'll start with the smallest car on our list and work up to the largest. The updated 2020 Versa runs on a highly efficient 1.6L 4-cylinder engine. Mated to Nissan's available Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission), it receives up to an EPA-estimated 32 city/40 highway/35 combined MPG, which is great for running Sunday errands or cruising around town.1

This sedan, like the Sentra, comes standardly equipped with a 7-inch touch-screen display connected to a 6-speaker audio system. You can access your media and navigation easily thanks to a voice-controlled Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System and Siri® Eyes Free.

Keep the Versa's 177-inch length in mind to compare its size to the Sentra and Altima. Although compact in design, the Versa still offers 88.9 cubic feet of passenger volume and 14.7 cubic feet of rear cargo storage.

2019 Sentra

Drivers who want a slightly larger sedan but don't necessarily need a midsize or full-size model should look at the 2019 Nissan Sentra. It has a larger trunk-15.1 cubic feet-and an exterior length measuring 182.1 inches. Additionally, the total passenger volume is bigger at 95.9 cubic feet.

You'll find another efficiently powered engine under the hood. When the Sentra's standard 1.8L 4-cylinder is paired with the available Xtronic CVT®, it gets an EPA-estimated fuel economy up to 29 city/37 highway/32 combined MPG.2

For a zippier engine than the native 1.8L engine that generates up to 130 HP, you can choose the available 1.6L Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG™) turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. It produces up to 188 horsepower when paired to the same Xtronic CVT®.

2020 Altima

This sedan is the most performance-oriented model of the three. In the Altima, either of its engine options gets formidable gas mileage. The standard 2.5L Direction Injection Gasoline (DIG™) 4-cylinder engine has an EPA-estimated rating up to 28 city/39 highway/32 combined MPG.3

If you opt for the available 2.0L Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo™) 4-cylinder engine, the 2020 Altima will have an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 25 city/34 highway/29 combined MPG.3 However, this engine provides a substantial boost by generating a maximum 248 horsepower.

When it comes to interior space, the Altima offers 100.8 cubic feet of passenger volume and 15.4 cubic feet of cargo room. This storage is more than enough to pack the family's luggage for a weekend getaway. It still has a fairly compact body, too, thanks to its length of 192.9 inches.
