Here at Beaver County Nissan we know that drivers in the New Castle area have an affinity for new Nissan vehicles. That's why we would like to take this opportunity on our blog to tell you all about our favorite Japanese Automaker's showing at last week's Chicago Auto Show. Welcome the 2013 Nissan Juke Nismo.
"Nismo" comes from NISsan MOtorsports because this version of the already popular Nissan Juke has been performance tuned and outfitted for the track. On the outside a full body kit provides extra downforce, while 18-inch wheels, a lowered suspension and LED daytime running lights give the Juke Nismo that racecar look.
The real secret of this supped up little hatchback lies in the underpinnings. Pop the hood, and you will be looking at a direct-injected turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. The Nismo can provide drivers with 197 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. There is also the option for a standard six-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (automatic).
Vice President of Product and Advanced Planning and Strategy, Nissan North America, Pierre Loing commented on the new Juke, saying, "The Juke Nismo combines distinctive style, advanced technology and a fun-to-drive factor that is unlike anything in the segment -- all at an attainable price. It optimizes the already innovative Juke design, re-engineering it to NISMO standards and sets the stage for future NISMO-branded models to come."1
We aren't sure when we will be seeing the Juke Nismo in our showroom, but we truly can't wait to add this hot model to our inventory of new and used Nissan cars in the New Castle area. Stop by our showroom located at 2777 Constitution Blvd. Beaver Falls, PA 15010 and take a test drive today.
