The latest Nissan sales figures are in for last month, and as expected, things are going quite well for the Japanese automaker. In July, the brand reported big gains in the month-over-month numbers as well as year-over-year figures, resorting a 10.9 percent increase in U.S. sales growth over 2012.

The automaker reported total sales of no less than 101,279 sales of  new Nissan models in the U.S. for last month, which marks the brand's best July sales ever, and is a significant increase over the 98,341 units that were sold in July of 2012.

Some of the models that made the biggest splash in summery July included the refreshed and most popular EV on the roads, the Nissan LEAF. This smart unit performed the best out of the lineup with 1,864 sales last month which reflected a remarkable increase of 371.9 percent when contrasted against 2012.

The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder underwent a massive redesign for the current model year to move from the SUV segment, to CUV. The changes are proving to be popular with American drivers as is reflected by the model's sales of 8,428 units, for a gain of 235.1 percent in July.

The collective U.S.  sales of the LEAF and Pathfinder represent the best July figures ever for these two Nissan Models, While other models in the lineup didn't experience such drastic gains, many of them still achieved impressive gains, like the Versa and Altima.
