As Nissan is in the midst of a battle to be known as the innovation king amongst automakers, the Japanese automaker is loading up its ammunition. And what might Nissan be bringing to the table to promote their innovativeness? Currently, the automaker is planning to launch a total of five redesigned new Nissan vehicles between now and the fall of 2013.

Nissan's push for innovation began only months ago as the automaker introduced the 2013 Nissan Altima to the U.S. market and the initiation of Nissan's "Innovation for All" campaign. With the reinvented Nissan Altima helping to boost sales by 16-percent from the same time last year, Nissan is proud to have started the campaign on such strong footing with such a popular vehicle.

Of the welcomed jump, Al Castignetti, Vice President and General Manager of Nissan Division, says, "Sales of the all-new Altima sedan - the most innovative Altima ever - helped propel Nissan car sales to the best July on record at 53,744 cars sold. Initial reception of the all-new, 2013 Altima proved to be strong, with total Altima sales reaching 26,602 vehicles sold in July."1
