While rumors circulate about the 2015 Nissan Z, which is to be introduced to the public as early as the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, Beaver County Nissan can provide actual details for potential drivers and Nissan followers.

Shiro Nakamura, Nissan's design boss says the 2015 Nissan Z will be lighter and leaner compared to the Nissan 370z which contains a 3.7-liter V6 engine and achieves 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway due to its curb weight of 3,314 lbs.

With a lighter build, the 2015 model will also be more fuel-efficient attracting a broader demographic, which is the aim of the 2015 Nissan Z and several other Nissan models that are agile and have roomy interiors. Shiro Nakamura references the Nissan Juke and the European-market Qashquai in particular saying "They are already sporty, and have a nice stance. Over the next few years Nissans will have a more consistent look . . . a diversified range, from Micra to Titan, is in some ways a strength, but also a challenge."1
